World of Work!

No longer can I skive, not bother getting up or go home early...

I'll just keep this short and sweet. Last week I had an interview with the biggest design agency in Belfast and more than likely Northern Ireland, and possibly even the whole of Ireland! Before the interview was over I had been offered the job and had a smile as big as my butt!

So for the next year or so I will be working with nice people in the design department of AV Browne! Found out today also that a couple of peeps from my uni course also applied for the job. Some of them I really like their work and think it rocks compared to mine but they werent offered the job. I dont know why I was offered it maybe I have a good personality. I don't know, but you can all wish me luck and congratulate me at your liesure! ;)

ha highly paid yeah right! Its better than 15 hours a week in tesco but then again I very much doubt I will get away with doing 15 hours a week lol!

One year placement my good man! Start the 2nd week in July! What about yourself you going for placement or ???? You worked out what you want to end up doing? U any good at 3d model/ animation? Seen a job going in Belfast for that!

I haven't developed the confidence yet to apply for real life design jobs, really should start soon, they aren't gonna just come to me!

nah not going for placement, i dont think my course offers it, i can paint 3D models in photo shop have no idea on how to make them. hope it works out for you

lol, did you do placement yourself or skip through to the 3rd year! Said to Liam I go tthe Avb gig and he seemed surprized. Kinda made me think, man he must really think Im crap and is seriosuly wondering how I got the placement! Btw on the job side of things. Frankbelfast.com were recently looking a junior! Oh and mammoth.tv are interview at the minute I think. Oh Oh Oh and if your up for going down south. Get yourself onto creativeireland.com. Loads of Junior positions south of the border! Bit far for me though, Not my cuppa tea. Love me mummy too much :D
